If you own one or more IP cameras, you can use Perfect IP Camera Recorder to turn them into a DVR system. The application gives you the possibility to capture footage from any number of IP cameras in your local network by setting a scheduler. This way, you can inspect the video recordings when you later return to your PC.
Record video from your IP cameras
The program is incredibly easy to use, even if you don't have the slightest clue on how to set up video surveillance software. It can be set up with an IP camera that's already working or used to assist you with getting it to work. In fact, this is the very first step necessary at when launching Perfect IP Camera Recorder.
The tool can recognize a huge range of IP camera models, such as 2N Helios, 3com, A4Tech, Acer, iWatch, Nokia, and Novell. It detects cameras in your local network and asks for your input when it comes to its model, along with verification for the IP address and port number where the camera can be accessed. Otherwise, you can set the stream path. If authentication is required, you also have to specify the username and password.
Set up a scheduler for auto video recordings
The current IP camera footage can be viewed in the main window. As far as the scheduler is concerned, you can ask Perfect IP Camera Recorder to record only one time or every preferred day of the week within a time range. Alternatively, you can manually start and stop the recording if you don't plan on stepping away from your workstation.
Additional settings can be configured for switching to fullscreen mode, changing the camera layout, loading footage in a built-in media player, asking the tool to autorun at Windows startup, changing the default saving directory for recordings, as well as web access since it's possible to allow access to Perfect IP Camera Recorder from the local network or the Internet.
Transform your IP cameras into a DVR system
The software utility worked smoothly in our tests, recording footage without any problems. It had minimal impact on the system's performance.
Taking into account its clear-cut interface and options, Perfect IP Camera Recorder comes in handy to any user looking to transform their IP cameras into a DVR system.

Perfect Ip Camera Viewer 4 License Key
Hello.
I wonder if anyone is able to help me. I have an Avtech AVC796 DVR which works perfectly as a standalone unit. However, when I connect to it over my local network I am unable to login.
At the welcome screen I use username ADMIN (uppercase) plus my password that has been set on the box and which I successfully use locally. Then, having entered the verification code (again, using uppercase when displayed) the login fails with the message:
ERROR: Authentication error.
I hope it is a relatively easy fix – next up will be remote access over the internet followed by EagleEyes, but one step at a time!
Kind regards,
Dave.
