macOS 32-bit installer

If you want to produce industry-standard electronic music, you must pay a lot of attention to each track of your mix. Sounds must be carefully processed in order to achieve the desired effect on every sound system available. This requires a lot of practice, but also a collection of high-end audio plugins.
More often than not, each track has a chain of effects that give it character and presence. One effect that you’ll find on almost any track in varying amounts is reverb. Naturally, there are many reverb plugins out there that sound different from each other, but today we’re going to take a look at one of the best. This is FabFilter Pro-R.
Great sound and a user-friendly interface
Most FabFilter plugins can be characterized by precision, ease of use, and amazing sound, and Pro-R is no exception. Even though it comes with features aplenty, you’ll find everything you need in the singular well-designed interface.
The main controls are at the top, where you can adjust parameters such as brightness, character, distance, and stereo width. The Space knob is the most important control, as it adjusts both the room and decay of the reverb. If you wish to change the decay without altering the room sound, then you can use the Decay Rate knob. For more control over this parameter, you can employ the Decay Rate EQ – a unique feature that allows you to set how the decay behaves over the frequency spectrum.
Adjust the sound with precision
Apart from the Decay Rate EQ, the plugin also comes with its own 6-band equalizer that you can use to further sculpt the sound. Additionally, you can browse through the application’s many presets that are tailored specifically for various musical needs.
It’s safe to say that FabFilter Pro-R is one of the best reverb plugins out there. Even though its price may discourage you, working with it can be a joy, and the results are nothing less than spectacular.
